cat nap | Just about the only room in the apartment that gets good sunlight is the living room. To take full advantage of it, we built a seat in the big bay window, cobbling together a frame out of cheap lumber, covering the whole thing in fabric, and adding a cushion. (Truth be told, it’s still a work in progress; the “upholstery” is just a blanket wrapped around the cushion, a temporary solution while we search for the right fabric.) The seat offers a perfect place to plunk down for an afternoon nap, curl up with a book, or veg in front of the TV. >
