under cover |  Eve had been lusting after this gorgeous bedding from Spiegel when she finally took the plunge and made the splurge. Inspired by the peacock tones of the bedding, Eve found that the rest of the bedroom décor soon fell into place. The bed is framed by a sumptuous canopy that Eve made herself with fabric she found at Jo-Ann's. She sewed some simple panels for the sides of the bed using an inexpensive silky turquoise fabric; a similar fabric in green was used at the head of the bed. The top of the canopy, meanwhile, is a paisley damask attached by loops to the corners of the four-poster bed, with the middle edges pulled towards the bed frame with string to keep the canopy from drooping too low. >
