Origami "gift" ornament made from recycled magazine ad

Wrapping paper isn't the only good source for making origami ornaments;
recycled magazine pages can also be fine candidates for folding. The inflatable balloon, also known as the water bomb (follow the directions at wicked4kids.com, skipping the final water-filling step), was one of the first origami shapes I ever learned to fold as a kid, and to this day, it's the only one I can make from memory. It's a cute and very cheap substitute for the traditional glass balls that fill out a Christmas tree, and tied with a contrasting ribbon, it looks like a holiday gift.
