the accidental collection  |  What started with a styrofoam wig head we bought for Halloween because we thought it would be good party decor has since developed into a bit of a collection. In addition to the styrofoam heads, decked out with wigs and glasses on the ledge above the stove, there's a mannequin head in the living room, as well as the vintage head in the corner behind the dining table. The last actually sits atop a coatrack -- my red vinyl 60s rain slicker covers the rest of the rack, and hides the mess of bags, aprons and hats underneath. Once someone asked me if the heads were art. No, I answered, they're just there 'cause they make us laugh. >
