sleep tight | The bedroom is the one room in the house where the color palette aims more towards the neutral and muted rather than the bold and bright. The primary reason for this was simple: my mother made the boy and me this quilt when we got married, and I loved it so much that I built the rest of the room's color choices around it. There are still a few punches of red amongst the soothing whites and neutrals -- just enough to give it a little sass to spice up the calm, cool feel.  >
