10 Line up velcro and fasten the two sheets together. Mark the length (fig. 9) and cut.

11 Turn the cover, still fastened, so that the sheets are inside out. Sew together the bottoms, 1.5" from the edge.

12 Sew sides (1" from edge).

13 Hem unfinished edges by folding over ¼" and stitching a zig-zag (fig. 10).

4 Take a corner of the futon cover and make an isosceles triangle by pulling each side out evenly (fig. 11).

Place a ruler such that H/2 is at the seam (fig. 12). Draw a line to mark; sew along the line using a straight stitch. Repeat this step for the other three corners.

15 Turn the cover right side out and slide over the futon.
